I'd prefer to stay home (rather) than (to) go to the concert. If you've decided that you're just going to go to any concert that is occurring on a certain day, you should use the indefinite article (a). I have two tickets for (to) a concert.

I have two tickets of a concert. Oct 24, 2018so you would generally buy a ticket for the concert, event, movie, bus, train and the like. As above, it is never correct to say "on the concert".

There's also a special idiom, "in concert," used to indicate that a person is performing: Come see paul mccartney in concert this.
