Big has grown organically over the last two decades from a founder, to a family, to a force of 700. Our latest transformation is the big leap: Since joining big in 2008 as chief financial officer, overseeing the development of the organization and its strategic priorities, sheela has transformed big from bjarke ingels’ danish.
Located in the town of gelephu in southern bhutan, the 1000+ km2 masterplan titled ‘mindfulness city’ by big, arup, and cistri is informed by bhutanese culture, the principles of gross. Big has grown globally since 2005, with 60+ buildings in 10+ countries.
